This lovely basket, handmade in the UK consists of woven steel rope intertwined around 12mm solid steel bar, the whole thing will glow red hot if logs are burnt in it for long enough producing an amazing heat source and focal point, the way they are made means they will literally last forever during normal use.

When manufactured the steel rope is lightly oiled, this will burn off over time and if left outside between use the basket will turn a lovely autumnal colour, this does not affect its durability in any way and adds a great character to it. The steel is coated with heat resistant paint for even more durability.
