Tanalised Spruce, pressure treated heavy duty timber Pergola DIY Kit, manufactured from high quality slow-grown Spruce timber treated to ensure a 10 year warranty for rot. Compared to Redwood Pine, Spruce is lighter in colour, stronger and generally has less imperfections.
We have a great selection of pergolas and gazebos, see the full Timber Pergola and Gazebo Range, we also offer exactly the same Heavy Duty Timber Pergola kit but in Redwood Pine which is slightly more rustic looking.
This range goes up to 3.6m, if you want longer please checkout our Large Size Timber Pergola Kits.
In stock for a 1-2 week delivery! Now delivered anywhere in the UK for free apart from Northern Ireland and Scottish postcodes IV and KW, we can still deliver there but it's at extra cost.
Post length is 2.4m or 2.7m selectable above, if you select 2.7m then there are no base plates, If you select 2.4m then base plates are supplied, the tanalised treatment goes right through the timber.
The length and depth are determined by the options selected above, the first dimension is the length, the second the depth and direction of the multiple roof runners, the dimensions refer to the widest point of the outside of the roof rails, it is then approx 300mm narrower than the roof rail dimension to the outside of the upright posts each side so 600mm in total, so for example a 3 x 3 pergola would be 2.4 x 2.4 to the outside of the upright posts.
We supply steel base plates if you order 2.4m posts (this enables securing down onto decking, concrete or other hard surfaces, not required if securing by other means or you are intending on digging a hole and putting posts down into concrete), screws to fix timbers together come with this product as standard. Most pictures are from our customers, some pictures show fence post spikes and different means of fixing to the ground that customers have fitted, these are not included.
