The Ofuro tub has its origins with the Japanese and has long been associated with deep relaxation and the healing power associated with the buoyancy of hot water. Hundreds of years ago they were used as a deep soaking bath, now with the addition of our amazing wood fired heating system and optional spa systems they make the perfect couples relaxation aid, light the fire, give it a stir and enjoy.
These tubs are clad in Scandinavian spruce, thermowood or composite and are available with an array of extras, an ergonomic liner moulds to your body and the heater is external to the unit on this model providing maximum internal space. Why not add a wooden gazebo shelter over it or add a timber decking kit to sit it on, we have it all covered.

Our wood-fired tubs are available in Scandinavian spruce (most cost-effective), thermowood (oven baked spruce which is more durable but slightly more expensive) or wood plastic composite (WPC) which looks like timber but needs no maintenance.
Liner Colours for your Layzee Living Tub
Standard gelcoat and pearlescent colours.
As well as our standard gelcoat grey, white and blue liners we also do those colours with a pearlescent effect, adds a touch of glam and sparkle to the finish.
Granicoat, the ultimate in luxury colours
Our Granicoat liners are the ultimate extra, an extra sparkly 3D effect range of liner colours, the above image shows the colours in water and out. All colours selectable in the options above.
Spa Systems Available
Air Bubbles, Hydro Massage & Integrated LED lighting - (Full spa effect)
Selectable at the options at the top, it includes 8 or 10 nozzles (200cm or 220cm tub respectively) for the hydro massage system, plus 12 air bubble jets to make maximum water agitation and enjoyment, with LED lighting integrated into the back of the hydro nozzles for a beautiful lighting effect, this is the ultimate spa system combination.
Hydro-Massage Only
Similar to the three systems to the left but this is just the hydro massage system, it still has a separate dial that introduces air into the system, not the full system to the left but an awesome cost-save if you are on a budget, selectable in the options at the top.

Your hot tubs heater
The ingenious heater included with our LayzeeTubs has been designed to maximise heat and minimise thermal energy loss and is the heart of your LayzeeTub: Viewing glass in door, adjustable draught vent, removable ash tray to make emptying of ash a doddle our heaters have ease of use at their core. 304 and 316 stainless are the options, you only need to upgrade to 316 if you plan on using chlorine or bromine based chemicals to treat the water, if not then the standard 304 version is fabulous. The heater does not need any pumps or other electrical components but works by natural convection alone.
Stirring paddle (Included as standard)
Our LayzeeTubs get hot, this lovely timber paddle, a work of art on its own can be used to ensure the temperature is perfect before stepping inside, 3 or 4 stirs and it is the perfect mix of warmth and relaxation.
Chimney Heat Guard (Included as standard)
A log fire gets very hot so you can expect the chimney to get hotter still, the stainless steel guard ensures your family or visitors maximise enjoyment by preventing burns on little (and big) feet, arms or any other body parts.
Drinks Shelf (Included as standard)
How can I really finish off my hot tub I hear you say? With a beautiful wooden mini bar stand for your favourite tipple of course! Saving your drinks from being knocked over this is a wonderful addition to your tubbing experience, included for free of course.
Quick Drain Tap (Included as standard)
Once finished relaxing you want to drain the top as quickly as possible, our high-flow drain lets the water out very quickly, if you want to direct it elsewhere simply attach a 25mm I/D hose and take it to wherever you need it. The drain is a specially made stainless steel elbow shaped pipe with a valve fitted on the side of the tub wall, this enables draining in a few minutes.

From ordering to delivery and set up was just so easy and was contacted each step of the way by WhatsApp and said it would around 3 week delivery it was into the 5th week but no drama as we were expecting more than 3 weeks for a bespoke order
It was delivered by the company that makes them abroad and the person who delivered it set it all up in about half an hour on our prepared base
We have used it a lot of times now and we are very pleased with the tub
It looks well made and the stove heats our 2 person tub in about an hour and 15 from cold
It is well insulated as we let it go out at night open it up in the morning and it's still warm enough to get in to after 8 hours with no fire on
We just set away the fire before we get in and about 10 mins from lighting the heat can be felt coming through like having the hot water tap constantly running
We have use them before and it will take you a little while to get the hang of it . You don't really need a big fire once the water is warm as it will get to hot to sit in
Just make a big fire to start then once it is warmed off just add a log or two just to keep the fire ticking over otherwise it will get to hot
If you are not sure about the build quality of getting ripped off don't be as it is well worth the money

More than happy with all aspects of our purchase, better than expected. Insulation properties are outstanding, the tub only loses a couple of degrees over a 24hr period after the fire has gone out, very quick to get it back up to temperature. Very good quality and delivery service was excellent. Daily use ....so relaxing, highly recommend.

Fantastic addition to our outdoor lives - it is so relaxing sitting in the tub with the smell of wood smoke and listening to the birds. Once it has been heated up it retains the heat really well. Perfect place to watch the sunset.

We love it!Every part of the process has been brilliant; from initial contact with Layzee Living, through to delivery, set up and aftercare. The product itself looks great, is sturdy, easy to set up and has brought a whole new dimension to our family; time relaxing together, stargazing and a fear night’s sleep post-soak! This Hot Tub is everything you hope it to be and more. You need to be aware that even if you measure out the area when it arrives it has a lot bigger presence a bit like when you buy a sofa it seems small in the shop than in your lounge. The Hydro jets, lights and bubbles are a must. The experience is not the same as a jacuzzi it is defiantly more therapeutic and in tune with nature. You need to master the fire after a couple of goes you will succeed. If you have any issues/problems talk to Terry, he is committed to solving any issues/problems you have. You will be disappointed but there is no need to rant and rave all our issues were sorted quickly. It is not a one button hot tub, so you need to consider time to light the fire and heat the water. We have the smaller couples design it takes less than an hour to get to temperature. We have the insulated lid. The fire and boiler are really efficient keeping the water constantly hot. Having a fire adds to the experience the occasional waft of smoke, the steam from the water and the mood lights creates a relaxing atmospheric environment. We are loving ours.

From filling the tub with 20 degree water to reaching 40 degrees was only 90 minutes!! And really impressed with how little wood it took!Can (and already have) really recommended this tub for off grid heating!
We did wait a bit longer to receive our hot tub from Layzee Living than expected but Terry was always very helpful when we rang the company. When the tub arrived we needed extra help to get it into our garden as it is very heavy. The final effect though looks great - it has been trial and error to get the temperature right but our Airbnb guests are always delighted with it and comment on how lovely it is. We would recommend this company to others wanting an easy to clean, wood fired hot tub that fits a couple perfectly
Absolutely fantastic, significantly cheaper than some on the market but the quality is fantastic. We’ve used most days since getting it, just a 30 minute soak at the end of the day, no messing with chemicals, you know exactly what you’re spending and looks great sat on our patio.
