Maintenance and Installation

  • With this product we recommend that you air dry upon delivery as long as you can as it has been pressure treated with a water based product. This will stop the boards gapping in hot weather.
  • We recommend an oil based preserver upon completion to waterproof the timber. We personally like Cuprinol or Barretine products.
  • Use 60mm stainless steel ring shank nails to fix (Not included). 2 are recommended approx 20mm from the bottom and 20mm from the top.
  • 3x2 Framing as a minimum at 500mm centres when fixing is advised.
