Wooden Sleeper Koi LayzeePond® With Window | 200mm walls
Raised, Stand-alone Wooden Koi LayzeePond ® complete with viewing window, a very strong, large pond with the correct depth for keeping Koi and available in a large range of sizes. This product is made from 200mm x 100mm sleepers on their 200mm end (200mm wide wall) so a very strong structure and available in higher walls. Any sizes are available please just ask.
Delivery time is 2-3 weeks without window, with window is 4-5 weeks. Delivery is included in price to most parts of the UK apart from NI and Scottish Highlands & Islands, please ask if you think you may in a remote location, offloading is by the customer so please ensure you are available when we deliver.
These beautifully crafted ponds will be an amazing addition to your garden or outdoor space, add some wildlife to your home or start a fish keeping hobby, either way they are a great way of viewing your fish collection from afar. They can be built all-above ground or you can sink as much as you want to below ground, we can build liner to suit.
Liners are box welded, 1mm butyl type and we make them to size from measurements provided by the customer once the timber frame is erected this is due due to possible fluctuations with the way customers build them and ensures a liner that fits properly is produced, we typically ship them out within 2 weeks of receiving measurements. 260gsm underlay is also provided to line the ground below the liner.
A glass viewing window is optional for maximum enjoyment of your fish, our standard offering is the infinity version (glass right to top) or we can do framed (glass framed by timber all round) on request, these are toughened, laminated and heatsoaked to BS EN ISO 12543-6:1998, specs differ depending on pond size, please ask if unsure. Standard size is equal to half of their length, so a 1 x 2 metre would have a 1 metre wide window.
High quality silicone is included to seal the window to the liner during installation.
The pond structure consists of very substantial timber sleepers, sleepers are 200mm x 100mm (walls built with sleepers on 200mm side for a 200mm thick wall) and heat treated with tanalith e creating a very strong and long-lasting product, held together using 8mm hex head screws, an impact driver is required to construct.

We would recommend filling your pond to 5.1cm/2in from the top of the wall excluding the top shelf. We also recommend leaving pond once installed for 48 hours before filling with water to allow the sealant to go off properly around the window.
