Wooden Sleeper Koi LayzeePond® With Window | 200mm walls
Raised, Stand-alone Wooden Koi LayzeePond ® complete with viewing window, a very strong, large pond with the correct depth for keeping Koi and available in a large range of sizes. This product is made from 200mm x 100mm sleepers on their 200mm end (200mm wide wall) so a very strong structure and available in higher walls. Any sizes are available please just ask.
Delivery time is 4-5 weeks for the sleepers and then a further 2 weeks for the liner. Delivery is included in price to most parts of the UK apart from NI and Scottish Highlands & Islands, please ask if you think you may in a remote location, offloading is by the customer so please ensure you are available when we deliver.
These beautifully crafted ponds will be an amazing addition to your garden or outdoor space, add some wildlife to your home or start a fish keeping hobby, either way they are a great way of viewing your fish collection from afar. They can be built all-above ground or you can sink as much as you want to below ground, we can build liner to suit.
Liners are box welded, 1mm butyl type and we make them to size from measurements provided by the customer once the timber frame is erected this is due due to possible fluctuations with the way customers build them and ensures a liner that fits properly is produced, we typically ship them out within 2 weeks of receiving measurements. 260gsm underlay is also provided to line the ground below the liner.
A glass viewing window is Included for maximum enjoyment of your fish, as standard we supply the window In the long side, let us know If you want this differently, our standard offering is the infinity version (glass right to top) or we can do framed (glass framed by timber all round) on request, these are toughened, laminated and heatsoaked to BS EN ISO 12543-6:1998, specs differ depending on pond size, please ask if unsure. Standard size is equal to half of their length, so a 1 x 2 metre would have a 1 metre wide window.
High quality silicone is included to seal the window to the liner during installation.
The pond structure consists of very substantial timber sleepers, sleepers are 200mm x 100mm (walls built with sleepers on 200mm side for a 200mm thick wall) and heat treated with tanalith e creating a very strong and long-lasting product, held together using 8mm hex head screws, an impact driver is required to construct.

We would recommend filling your pond to 5.1cm/2in from the top of the wall excluding the top shelf. We also recommend leaving pond once installed for 48 hours before filling with water to allow the sealant to go off properly around the window.
Sleepers need to be off-loaded by customer, delivery companies will not off-load due to weight.

Bought a 1.4x2.1x1m so easy to assemble,I'm close to 70yo and did it on my own in a total of about 10 hours, hardest part was putting the liner in, and getting back out of the pond 😆 very easy to contact via whats app, Pippa was very helpful, pond was delivered a week before I expected it, well done everyone.

The product arrived in excellent condition, all the parts were there and the guy who delivered it was very helpful. Although looking at the pile of parts was initially daunting, I can say the construction is straight forward and doesn’t take long once the base is ready. The finished pond has a quality appearance and feel to it. Overall I am very happy with my pond.

When my delivery came it was missing 4 lengths. The service I received was amazing. The driver spoke to the office and the missing parts were delivered the same day.
The pond went together easily and I've painted it dark grey which I think makes it look much better.My main criticism is the rough sawn finish of the ends. It would much better if they were chamfered and sanded to give a better finish and a more polished effect.I also wish there were fitments on the inside to stand plant baskets on. I had to attach them with cable ties.
I purchased this pond back in May so I feel better placed to write this review half a year on. The delivery was quick and easy. My father in law and husband assembled this together. There was some confusion surrounding assembly and they’d have preferred step by step instructions that included images (a YouTube clip would have been fantastic) but otherwise it was fairly seamless. We’ve added a water feature, air stones and a couple of pond plants so this makes for a relaxing experience when sat outside whilst also helping the fish.The fish are incredibly happy and it’s a stunning feature in the garden - I now wish I’d gone bigger!

No problems at all putting it together looks great only down side was it took a month to deliver not the 2 weeks as stated on site
Fantastic quality raised pond and now it’s all assembled and the fish and the waterfall is going it looks amazing. Very impressed and will definitely be purchasing another for my other property.
It has been an 'interesting' experience buying and receiving our new pond. It arrived slightly ahead of time but unfortunately the wrong size had been sent, 10ft long instead of 7ft. Half of the components were sent back with the driver, including a huge liner that would have fit the 10ft size. We received the remaining 7ft components the following week and the original liner. Unfortunately the weather had turned which left us building the pond in less than favourable conditions, not helped with a massive piece of liner to cut and manhandle into the pond. I also feel that the top pieces of wood could be better and may have been compromised by being cut from different wood and at different times.
Overall I am pleased with the sturdiness of our new pond but there were a lot of adjustments made and wood that had to be cut. The biggest headache was the overly large piece of liner supplied.
